Fantastic college

On the whole it is a good college as far as studies are concerned but speaking of activities and all its not up to the mark and the canteen of the college is also not well maintained and doesn't even look like a canteen. The faculty and stuff here is good

I got admission in this college through CAP round of admission ,which is centralised counselling for admissions conducted by the maharashtra government which gives admission to colleges on the basis of 12 th board marks in pcm (75% weightage) and jee score (25% weightage) and on the basis of the aggregate seats are given in various colleges in maharashtra.Actually i wanted to take csc but i got IT ,as the college is a prestigious one i got admitted.

The curriculum so far is well planned and is going in a smooth manner. The syllabus gets over well in advance before the exams .

There is a special department for training and placement of students and a special placement officer for each and every trade in the college ,so these people guide the students about various opportunities and different companies and students are also taken to different companies in order to get information and experience regarding a particular job. Being a FIRST YEAR student i don't know much about this part.

The college internship experience is quite good as compared to the other colleges in that locality or near by , many bid companies come to the college every year and recruit most of the students. Companies like TCS, L&T , JSW ,CSC, HONEYWELL, TECHMAHINDRA, ETC take active participation. Ans as far as the stipend is concerned the students here get an average of 2.85 lakhs p.a. and a maximum of 3.85 lakhs p.a. is observed.

The college conducts various workshops on useful subjects like ETHICAL HACKING, ROBOTICS ,ETC . Events like FRESHER'S PARTY are also celebrated, other than that the college has its fest named ABHIYAAN which is celeberated in the month of february every year where many students from various colleges take part.

The fees here for this college is average not too high or low for a student belonging to the open category has to pay an amount of 1 lakh p.a and that for backward caste it is 50,000 and for Sc and St its 11000 only.

The students can apply for the government scholarship which is not there for open category and yes i have seen ICICI bank people offering loans in our college apart feom these there are many private scholarships available but the college do not offer any scholarship in personal.

Life on campus is good ,the campus is quite big about 11 acres in area and has many places to hangout and the laboratories are quite big ,well equipped and seem to be interesting and many workshops on robotics and all are also conducted.

I don't stay in hostel.

I don't know much about the alumni but the senior students are good and quite helpful to the juniors and there is no case of ragging in the entire college.

In each semester we have two unit tests whose average is counted in the final exam other than that every week we have turorials for maths in which tests are conducted on the recently taught syllabus.

Faculty is concerned all the staff is well educated and are having a great command over the subject but the negative point to be noted is that most of the faculty can't communicate in english. So it is a very big drawback and i did not expect this from s
