IIT -110, BITSAT-246, SRMJEE-245, PET-116I. I chose Electronics and Instrumentation because this field can provide you a way lot of ideas and opportunities than any Branch can provide. It's field of applications and inventions. You become eligible for many approaches.

Srm is in the name list of top Placements. If you are in cse or it department. Lemme tell you . Just maintain a CGPA and you'll get placed in a renowned company.

Technical there AARUSH fest its a big hit with various events. This year it was with more than 300 events and 15,00,000 lakh prizes to be won. Then there's JHALAK inter house danceTARANG for inter house and solo music competition. MILAN as the next big in monthof Jan, there's always some celebrity coming like Shreya Ghoshal, Karthii, Rajnikaant ,Daler mehndi, this year we are expecting HONEY SINGH.

No. Srm doesn't support any loan facility. Though it does give scholarships in all years and fees waver in hostel fees. SRM supports academic excellence. Students topper in Tamil Nadu .It even gives 100%scholarships.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
