Likes

The classes and the faculties of this college are good.
The arts and cultural fest in this college is a better experience for the students.
Many companies are offering good packages for the students

Dislikes

There two tech fest in this college. One of them is not that much good
Lengthy duration of classes. One period is almost like 1 hr and 10 minutes
The closing time for hostel is 8 30pm which is too early.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course provides various opportunities,jobs and placements. There are several workshops and labs for practical sessions. The frequency and timing of exam is 3 hr exam for 100 marks and 50 marks for 2 hour exam.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provide various internship opportunities from many multinational companies. Many students get placed and get high salary packages from our college. Some companisuch as Wipro and many other IT companies also

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements at fifth semester onwards. Companies like Wipro and so on came with many offers. The highest package that a company offers is about 240000 per annum. My plan is to get a better campus placements in one of the best company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution is fee is 80000 and hostel fee is also again 80000. Fees is a bit high but facilities are very good. There are so many scholarship which is beneficial for students. This college has many opportunities for campus placements.

Campus Life

We have two tech related festivals, one is techshektra and other is ABHIYANTHRIKI. One of these fest is held on each semester once. We have a cultural and arts fest known as BHARATHAM which is held in each semester.

Hostel Facilities

We have a better room facilities in hostel. We have non vegetarian dishes all the exepct on all Friday's. Registration process for hostel are done in the college official website. There is also many PG near the college such as IKKA'S PG near college

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

I opted for Computer Science. The eligibility for this course is 12th. Application form and the details regarding the admission is through college official website. There are several benefits for reservation categories. Timing for exam is 3 hour.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I did write the exam for SRM and VIT but then since I wanted to study in kerala I chose rajagiri school of engineering and technology. Also rajagiri is a well reputed college which produces excellent engineers with innovative ideas, I wanted to study and build my career here.
