Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is mostly outdated for all the branches. It's not enough to get the required placements. You'll need to learn some extra skills from your own. Exam levels are pretty moderate just study what you are taught in lectures. One thing they can improve is that update the curriculum as per today's IT sector need for better placement.
Internships Opportunities
Students can explore their internship options from 6th semester or 3rd year. College provide decent enough internship at likes of Byjus and amazon. Both paid and non paid internships can be sealed here with decent enough pay if paid.
Placement Experience
College has the decent enough placement percentage of 78 for non core branches. It gets a little lower with core branches. The average package here is 3.75Lpa while highest it has ever gone is 13Lpa in 2021. Students are eligible to sit in placement interviews from 7th semester. There is also option for masters degree if that's what you are interested in.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total 4 years fees of the B.Tech here is around 4.1L with each semester costing around 45000 without the hostel facilities. This includes tuition fees and some other compulsory charges. You can apply for various campus employment here as per your choices.
Campus Life
Campus life here is very smooth and freshening. There are many facilities provided by college like cricket and football fields, gym, library with decent variety of books, a mandir for spiritual aspects,etc. In addition of this there are many indoor games tournaments are also organised. Annual college fest and science fest are also organised here. Overall it's a good and harmonious environment. You will be loving it.
Admission
Admission process in the college is pretty simple and straight forward. You need to have 10+2 marksheet and certificate with minimum of 75% in +2 to be eligible to take admission in this college. You can apply for the college through WBJEE examination held by West Bengal government with securing as much of 60000 rank or less to bs eligible for a seat here. There is no such reservation here. One improvement they can make in the admission process is that to process all the formalities at a single office in college instead of making candidates go through different buildings for different things.
