Course Curriculum Overview

In computer science engineering, iit indore has very practical curriculum according to nep 2020. They focus more on practical application of computer science. They want to develop comprehensive learning in students. In iiti basically we have some quiz,midsem,endsem in every subject in every sem.these exam are as difficult as jee advanced.

Internships Opportunities

Many Mncs like Google, Microsoft, amazon give internship in iit indore. They hire students for many different kinds of roles like software engineer, digital marketing, daveops, ai ml engineer, investment banker etc. under the stipend of 50000 to 200000 per month according to your skills

Placement Experience

4th year student are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Microsoft,amazon, Google, Goldman Sach etc. comes for placement. And above 500 offers are made every year. Almost 90 % students of cse placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Iit provide various scholarship to needy students . They specially provide help to those student who has low income. They reduce tuition fee for those student. Apart from that iiti aware about various scholarship schemes.

Campus Life

Iit indore has beautiful campus situated in forest area of indore. Iiti has infrastructure like lecture hall and hostels better than any other iit. There are many different different club iit indore has. These club encourage us to participate in various activities. They conduct many events. Iit indore has very friendly atmosphere in campus.

Hostel Facilities

Iit indore we have flat system, in each flat there are 5 and each room has double occupancy. They provide one study table,one Almira, one bed and chair to each student. Hostel has unlimited wifi facility. They allowed cooler on chargeable basis. Iit indore has better meal quality then any other iit or nit or iiit.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

I cleared jee mains which has cutoff around 89 percentile and jee advanced which has cutoff around 52 marks out of 360 for general category. For btech you have to clear jee advanced then through josaa counselling you can get admission. I availed pwd reservation for pwd reservation you must have considerable disability above 40%. From my perspective jee advanced is one of most difficult exam in the world so you to prepare very hard to get admission in iit. My suggestion about admission process is that josaa should simplify documentation process so everyone can understand easily.

Placements are so nice that you forget about other things.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements But from 5th semester students are eligible for internships. Many companies visited campus for campus placements like : Accenture, nvidia,paypal,amd,etc. Highest packege upto now this year is 34lpa. For last year the highest package is 120lpa and the avarage is 17lpa . 90%of students are placed through campus placements. I plan to do higher studies by writing gate exam.

Placement Experience:

Winzo Games, Oracle, and many tech building companies have started coming to our campus as a part of regular visit. Once the fourth year starts the interviews and all becomes lecture hall as that is where placements are done. An average of 8 lakhs plus salary is offered to around 85% students every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course teaches us many real life things . The curriculum not just is about classroom but mostly learning in labs adn workshops where we build we create and learn how to use the provided knowledge in real life. The labs are min 3 days in a week of 2 hours each subject . I think we could get more better faculty for workshop labs as they just tell the theory in labs also.

Truth of College

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is available in our college. Final year students are eligible for campus placement. Average package offered is between 3 lakhs per annum. Company visited in college such as tcs, wipro, Marvel vinyl, etc. but there is no placement for civil engineering students. In 2023 there is only 4 students placed from civil branch package offered is 2.5 lakhs, 3 lakhs etc.

IIT INDORE: Ocean of Opportunities

To get enrolled in IIT Indore you must have to clear JEE Advance. To get electrical engineering you have to secure around 3600 rank if you belongs to general category . The reservation is applied for sc/st/obc/pwd as per the national policy. The jee advance examination held every year.It is a very tough exam. My Experience at IIT Indore

The eligibility for the course is to clear the JEE Advanced examination, as well as you must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the 10+2 or equivalent examination and you must also have physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects in that examination. The cut-off for the metallurgical engineering and materials science course is usually around AIR 11000 for general category male candidates. You must undergo the JOSAA counselling and opt and receive acceptance of the desired course to be eligible. The admission process was systematic, and there was no unnecessary hustle. Proper time was given to undergo all the facilities and to pay the fees. Application forms are available on the JOSAA and the JEE Advanced Website. The fee structure is available on the institute's website. I did not avail of any reservation benefits for admission into the course. The admission process was great, and there is no specific improvement that I wish to see in the admission process....Read More

Yes. The college is well equipped with the necessary infrastructure and facilities. A lot of importance is given to lab instruments and technicalities.
