Remarks

On overall view GITAM is a good option to enter for Engineering students.Here you have an overall scope to develop.But the concept of self learning is really matters in this college.

Entrance Preview

I have written exam conducted by GITAM(Gandhi Institute of Technology and Managment) the GAT exam and depending up on the score secured in the test we are allotted the course.

Internships Opportunities

As of internships its totally dependent on the students option but college will give us full support in attending any of the internships.

Placement Experience

Well we are having a good number of companies like Amazon,Wipro,Infosis,NTT Data,TCS,Tech Mahindra and nearly 50 more companies who visit us for offering placements.Amazon came up with a base pack of 12 lac and NTT Data with 5 lac and have a good number of offers.

College Events

We in our college have three kind of fest Literary Fest, Cultural Fest, Technical Fest. Coming on to literary fest we are having many college students coming and participating in over 50 different colleges.Coming on to our Cultural fest we are one of the best and we are the only to conduct SUNBURN event in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We are having a decent hostel facility and there is sharing of three people per room. The hostel availability is limited. They charge around 6000 per head in the hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of scholarships are only give to students with low financial background. Depending upon the students performance and we are having Loan availability from many reputed banks and I know good number of people who have opted for Loans.

We have are having a good campus life and we have a many cultural teams like Kalakruhti and EWB and Swetcha for student activities.we are also having frequent workshops conducted by many organizations also.We are having sports meets too.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

The best college

After the completion of 12th , I gave OJEE and got a good rank , and then I applied in a government scholarship scheme which is called TFW and got selected by this collage, for that scheme my 50% course Fee got waved. When I went to the college for the admission procedures, the management of the college was really impressive, they treat me like there own child, and I met some of professors and got some good advices from them.
