Course Curriculum Overview
The main aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision is that the future aspect of this course is that we can become finance managers and the curriculum prepares the student for the real-world application by assigning real-life projects and the areas for improvements in the teaching methods should be made effectively
Internships Opportunities
Ther are numer of internship oppoertunities available in the University campus. Many companies such as amazon and hdfc banks provides students with the internships and real life projects and tasks are being assigned to the students
Placement Experience
The Guru nanak dev university provides no.of placements every year and the student from 6th semester becomes eligible for campus placements and many companies after every year visits this campus and provide placements opportunities such as amazon ,Infosys and Hdfc banks .The average package being offered in the university campus is about 4 lakh per year and the highest package being offered is 12 lakh per year and the plans after getting the degree is getting placements otherwise focusing on the master degree of Masters of business administration.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of this course is as per the odd and even semesters for the general category 86000 for odd and 60000 for even semester and there is financial aid for the weaker sections that they have to pay the minimum amount of fees and the students with the scheduled caste have to pay the least fees as compared to general category students.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life was all good. There are many festivals being organized in the university campus such as the Youth festival and Jashan. Youth festival is typically held in the month of October and jashan is held in the month of of April. Our university is also known for sports and is winning the Makka trophy.There are a large variety of books and journals available in the library of different authors
Admission
The eligibility to get admission in this course is to pass the entrance exam which was held on 24 June and when the result came I got 482 ranks out of 2000 students and after that day counseling started with their ranking status. We can avail of the application form from the Official website of Guru Nanak Dev University. The difficulty level for this exam was litttle high and afterwards, I got admission in the MBA (Finance)(FYIP)
