The tution fees for undergraduate programs for Indian nationals are in the range 100000 to 200000 per year .my fees is 62000 per year including hostels fees mess charge and other fees.iit Guwahati offers various scholarships schemes these scholarships may include merit based scholarships

IIT Guwahati provides diverse campus life with a mix of academic cultural and recreational activities. The clubs include cultural technical sports and social domains allowing students to pursue their hobbies. The library is huge with good stocks of books.

First you have to clear jee main and then students who cleared jeemain seat for jee advanced then after students who cleared jeemain advanced candidates need to register for josaa then choice filling and locking seat allotment.During my time cutoff was different for different different categories in 2022 jee advanced cutoff of gen category was around 85/90 out of 360 For obc-ncl category was 75/80,for SC category was 40-50 out of 360 for ST was 25-40 .I was addmissioned through obc ncl criteria .to avail of reservation benefits under obc candidates must belong to non creamy layer of the other backward classes as per criteria.the percentage of seats reserved for obc ncl category candidates in IITs is around 27% of the total seats available JEE main conducted twice a year the January and April .it is considerd a challenging exam .jee advanced is conducted once a year usually in May .it is regarded as one of the toughest engineering entrance exams .enhance transparency and reducestress..
