Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum very well prepares us for the real world.. here we are given practice at the hospital where we learn a number of nursing skills, the faculties are skilled and experienced.. The syllabus has changed now which includes new scopes for nurses to achieve new heights such as forensic nursing etc

Fees and Financial Aid

As it's a central government institute the academic fees is very less compared to other private colleges For day scholars they are free from hostel fees also which is around 13000 per year .. But here were are not getting stiffened from hospital college of nursing is not providing any stiffened for their students

Spandan is one of the most awaiting college fest..It includes all cultural and sports events ..the college remains off for one week where all the students celebrate the events forgetting all their academic stress and find joy .. There is a central library which provides a proper environment for students to study with modern infrastructure... New improvement in technology for teaching has encouraged our intrest in studying.. the class rooms are centralised

Hostel Facilities

In hostel three seater rooms are provided for bsc abd single room for MSC.. from third year onwards students can request for single room..the rooms are not centralized nd request for wifi for hostel is on process.. the hostel doesn't provide food due to some maintenance issues but near to hostel there are different messes which provides food

Hostel Fee: INR 13000 per year

Admission

The aspirant must qualify neet and should have a good score.. The details of application process , starting date and others is given on the jipmer website..the aspirant must frequently check the site... Reservation is availed.. students are selected according to their reservation category.. the councelling process will be notified in the website itself . The admission process will take place two days including medical check up..

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. The cutoffs are really high for mbbs admission and it is usually around 300 AIR for the general category students....Read More

In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
