Course Curriculum Overview

The global increase in the use of AI have been influenced me so much to take up the course AIML.AI deals with the real world applications for all the languages in the world…i think the teaching methods should be increased by providing some projects based on real world applications like robotics through AI and increasing the seats in the AIML sector.we have 2 mid exams and a end exam with lab exams included within 6 months per semester.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 111000 per year

Placement Experience

From 3-2 students become eligible for campus placements.accenture tcs wipro Byju’s and more have made offers.highest package is 40L and lowest is 3.5L. 60% of the students receive jobs in campus placements..my plan is to study MS in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee of my education is 111000..and many fees like semester fee, library fees are excluded..some castes get reservations like fee reimbursement of 35000 which is deducted from the college fee.

Campus Life

Sriyam’s technical annual and cultural festivals have been held yearly once i.e., in February. Many books/journals have been provided in the college library projectors and Technical Televisions have been provided in the classrooms. We have sports like football badminton cricket kabaddi etc. sports clubs NSS events and other clubs have been formed by the students.

Admission

No entrance exam have been conducted in my case..i have entered through EAMCET…i have selected this college in the counselling and have been interested in doing the course AIML..less seats have been provided to AIMl than CSE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. Unveiling Excellence- My Experience at IIT Hyderabad

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Various companies like Google, Microsoft, Amaazon, Facebook, Uber, Ola, visisted and made around 300 offers in total, The highest package offered was 90LPA to a student from CSE and the avg Package was around 20 LPA Around 50% of the students got the placement this year. My plans after getting this degree would be moving abraod for a Masters Degree.
