BRIEF AND CONCISE REVIEW OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NIT) JAMSHEDPUR

The curriculum Of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is highly industry oriented and works on building real life skills of students. The curriculum focus heavily on making skilled engineers. We have proper functioning laboratories where students can work on their ideas and grab real life industry skills. Since the engineering syllabus of Nits and iits have not been updated since a long time , there are few subjects which are relevant in today's world . So I would suggest to make an improvement in these subjects. At Nit Jamshedpur, Mid semester and end semester exams are conducted every semester. Mid semester exam comprises of 30 marks and end sem is of 50 marks. The paper of these exams are in general moderately tough and can be aced just by paying attention in the class.

Training and placement cell of Nit Jamshedpur is very active. Students of 3rd year onwards are eligible for internship Opportunities. Companies like Amazon , Atlassian, Tata Steel, Samsung, Mathworks actively recruits interns from nit jsr in the Summer intern season. The stipend varies from 30 thousand to 1.2 Lakh. Sports culture of Nit jsr is very strong and we have well equipped grounds and sports kits. Talking about clubs , there are many technical and cultural clubs which are actively participating in several competition.

Hostel Facility Is decent and above average. In freshmen year, Students are alloted double seater room and from sophomore year onwards, students get single seater rooms. Quality of mess food is a bit on the lower side and improvements are possible in this area. Every student can avail Hostel Facilities by paying the required hostel and mess fee.

In Order to get Admission in NIT JAMSHEDPUR, the candidates will have to pass intermediate examination with more than 75% marks and then Secure a Good rank in Jee Main Examination Conducted By NTA. Generally Jee main is conducting the month of January and April followed by jossA Counselling. Jee Main Is Considered to be a tough examination but can be easily aced by applying regular efforts in PCM. As We are aware that Nit Jamshedpur is a Government institute so students can avail Reservation on the basis of their categories.
