JIPMER is one of India's best college known for MBBS but here in Jipmer we also have BSc courses which is not much known for the outside world. Actually in the admission process only the neet score is required and no need for online submission of any docs. You need to pass the UG NEET examination held by NTA.The application forms can be found in the official website of Jipmer & there is no requirement for application fees. Application starts after the completion of ug NEET examination and the announcement of results... Most probably after the completion of MBBS counselling. But for Bsc courses the range of marks is very low than that for MBBS. check for new updates every day from the websites.You'll be provided with the final list of students who have applied and the counselling is conducted after the final list been sent. The admission process is fairly simple. After filling out the form on the website, we are expected to go to the Institution at Pondicherry for the counseling process. A set of documents, as asked for on the website, have to be produced and will be checked, after which ranks allotment of seats will be done in either Puducherry or Karaikal campus. Then our documents have to be submitted and a bonafide certificate shall be given to us. The admission fees have to be paid. The health checkup is done a couple of days later after which you officially become a JIPMERite and classes start. The admission process to get into JIPMER in the year 2019 was through JIPMER Entrance Exam. Just like AIIMS, JIPMER had its own entrance exam which was also MCQ based and was quite an interesting paper. It had English as a section as well beside Physics, Chemistry & Biology. For the eligibility in my year, in the General category, the last rank was around 200. It went up to 40 in the SC category. Application forms were available online easily, application fees were something around Rs. 1500, and dates are usually announced publicly Reservation benefits were fact there and 15 seats in each SC and ST and more seats were there for the OBC category. It was actually quite good and I don't see any necessary improvement in the admission process....Read More
