Entrance Preview

Appeared exams with AIR ranks JIPMER-2, AIPMT-21, AFMC-22,BHU-27, STATE-2. Admission was simple AFMC interview involves any realm into which they delve from pink Floyd to smelting. So being a bookworm isn't a very rewarding option.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course here was exhaustive with the meticulous hours put into class followed by clinics. The degree examinations are very strict because jipmer is autonomous and they do not allow passing unless satisfied. A testimony to it is our batch Startin with 116 and final ending with a paltry 6o odd becoming interns .

Internships Opportunities

Internship is a bipolar time with phases of sleep starvation intervened by bouts of interest. Work is mostly of a phlebotomist and clerical but with keen eyes attending rounds. Lot of knowledge can be imbued .

College Events

SPANDAN is the annual college fest held in the month of September for more than past 3o years. It's armored with an arsenal of events ranging from sports events to literature to rock bands to pro shows.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is as titular as the president of India. With a puny academic fee of 340 Per annum. It leaves only payin for accommodation and food.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships issued by states and some minority scholarships are the ones I know of . Apart from that good academic performance and publishing papers can help tap the money. Quizzes can be a revenue source with laureates from our college bagging most o them .

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very strong being sprawled all over the globe. With alumini reunions and their dissertations to us it's enchanting and thrilling to be in their touch. They on their part are very genteel to us knowin our nubile minds. All in all there's a mental connect.

JIPMER: Above and Beyond

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. The cutoffs are really high for mbbs admission and it is usually around 300 AIR for the general category students....Read More

In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98.
