The friendship and social life that we get here i s amazing
Exposure to lot of students from different parts of the country and their cultures
Excellent infrastructure with 24×7 wifi facility and library to focus on studies

Dislikes

The crowd due to more patient inflow from different parts of country
Walking alone at night inside the campus is not safe
There is some deviation from the code of conduct for women in some circumstances

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it has both therapeutic and diagnostic features which made me more curious to learn it. As it is an upcoming field there are high job opportunities in India as well as in abroad.

Class Size: 174Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

1 year compulsory internship is there for our course after which they would refer us to other institutes with better placements and salary and experience. This internship period helps us to gain experience and to be experts in the field.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fee is around 8000 and a caution deposit of 3000 in the first year . In second and third year it is near to 6000 . Hostel fee in the first year is 20000 including 8000 caution deposit and 12000 in comin' years. You can apply for a number of scholarship schemes.

Campus Life

Campus life is so good that there is a lot of cultural programs and festive celebrations.Social life's are nice that there is huge bond between seniors and juniors with no contradictions.There are a lot of committees for different cultural fields such as dancing club, music bands, literature committees and sports clubs that include a lot of games.

Admission

Admission process was a spot counselling type. We have to register before and have to be eligible in NEET exam . I didn't like the time duration it took and was too tired because they didn't provide any snacks .

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
