Hostel life is too good.its really enjoying

Fee for only food tech course.all other courses are not providing fees

I am very satisfied by ghis course.because there are somany oppertunities in the food industry.can work as quality controller,hygiene officer etc.teaching system was also very good.and exams are conducted on time.

Internships are not provided by the college.but have training facility providing for food tech studenst at kochi,national institute of fisheries post harvest technology.its veru useful and informative training.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 30150.and they provide hostel facilities.and also have scholar ship such aa ch muhammed koya,e grands,post metric etc.tution fee is for per semester.and have seats for NRI students.their fee structure is by the dollar vakue.

Campus is very attractive and beautiful.calicut university campus is eco friendly and also have somany places to ezplore students trap,etc.have botanical garden and have somuch to explore in the university itself

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is too good.have hostel mess.rent for hostel is only 160 for one month.room is shared by 4 members.and additional charge for mess as per the requirement of food.food was also food and all are enjoying hostel life

Hostel Fee: INR 1600 per year

Admission

No entrance exam for food science.cut of percentage is 78%and must be graduated with bsc food technology.they provide seats for NRI students.for masters there are 4 semesters with each semester duration is 6 months.admission process is by online regestration.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus
The campus maintain the rules and regulations of the campus

Dislikes

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

Likes

Good atmosphere and good building. Play ground is very big.
Students are very respective. We are going to study tours.
Visit students houses. Participating in our classmates marriage function.

Dislikes

College is so far from bus stop. In a strange area
No canteen in the college compound. Water availability isbless
So many steps to reach in my classroom. Auto availability is less

Admission:

Amar college takes admission merit wise criteria. Aggregate marks obtained at 10 + 2 or equivalent are taken into consideration while preparing the merit list for each course. Applications for admission are accepted in online as well as offline mode. After acceptance application for admission one has to go through a short interview before finalisation of the admission. Being an over 35 years old college in the district it is known for the quality of its education.

Positive Remarks: 1) Good placement opportunities 2) Gives plenty of internship opportunities 3) Good faculties 4) Gives updated courses 5) Helps to learn new things Negative Remarks : 1) Faculties uses their juniors to complete portions before exams
