Infrastructure is well developed. Everything that you need is there.
Seniors support juniors rather bullying them.
Professors are quite supportive. Classes are so interesting.

Dislikes

Attendence policy is 75% which they strictly follows.
During submission there is lot of pressure as you have to submit all submissions within a certain time.
Peons are sometimes a bit annoying. Else all fine

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 1.9a lacs and per semester examination fee will be charged around 4700. Hostel fee is 86500. Infrastructure wise it's well developed. For scholarship college offers as well as you can apply other scholarship as well.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite friendly. Professor thinks about your future and accordingly guide you. Seniors are very friendly and supportive. Events are grandly celebrated. Canteen is good and also sport's complex

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is the best. Food quality is awesome like the taste the menu everything about food is good. Rooms are spacious seniors are supportive . Seniors celebrate all the festival's in the Hostel with joy.

Hostel Fee: INR 86500 per year

Admission

You have to take the exam BVPCET. 2500-2700 rank atleast is needed. If you have to take the admission in Pune branch, then under 800 is required for the CS stream. Currently exam forms are open to fill till 1 June.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

From seventh semester ,students are eligible for placements. Companies like tcs, infosys, cappgemini, accenture are common for hiring. Almost 60 percent strudents get placed. My plans after degree is placement plus MS/MTech if a good gate score.

The reason I chose this college were that i due to some personal issues and problems scored less marks in MHT-CET, JEE and other competetive exams which made it difficult to get admission into other colleges. BVPCOEP conducted a personal CET exam on the basis of which I was selected. They also considered 12th boards marks(minimum 65% required PCM or Physics, chemistry, and computer science(vocational course)). I had applied for other colleges that include Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT), Terna college of Engineering and A C Patil college of engineering. I got accepted at A C Patil college of engineering, Navi Mumbai. But due to the low reputation of this college I did not accept it.
