Likes

The curriculum has changed last year in which we can complete our internship within four years. The campus security system is great.
The campus is really big. There are so many facilities available in this college like gym.
The central library is really helpful for students to refer books

Dislikes

The year back system is the most disliked thing in college
The marking system has changed to evaluation in which scoring mark is very difficult
The minimum attendance for the eligibility to write university exam is 75 % which is also a disliked thing

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum in Jawaharlal Institute of post graduate medical education and research is absolutely influenced me to choose this course because the curriculum is so perfect. The curriculum prepares me for real- world applications or further academic pursuits well. My suggestion for teaching methods are give more time for practicals. There will be almost three exam in one month with moderate difficulty.

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 11410 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is 11410 and hostel fee is 20000 rs. The total course duration is for four years including internship. scholarship like national scholarship portal and egrantz etc available here. NSP schol

Campus Life

In Jawaharlal Institute of post graduate medical education and research there us annual and technical festival called spandan in August. tallented student from all medical colleges can be participate in spandan.

Hostel Facilities

Here the nursing students are accomodated in a hostel namely Nightingale house in front of college of nursing. Three students share one room. A bed and table are available gor each student. Mess facility is not available.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course is through NEET exam.Application form, Application fees, Application dates are notified in the official JIPMER website. Examination is conducted monthly three times with moderate difficult level.please try to reduce the gap between stages of admission process because staying for long time here will be difficult for parents coming from distant places

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
