Curriculum was constructed well, because it starts from the base level and we can catch up even if it was difficult to study. Clinicals, night duty, community posting all are arranged according students friendly manner.

Campus Life

Central Library will be there to study without any distractions. Water, toilet facility, centralised ac, and table and chair will be provided.jipmer conduct all the sports competition including football for both boys and girls, cricket, throw ball, baseket ball, and other. Swimming pool, parks are there for students.jipmer conduct spandan fest every year which is all india medical university fest. Other than that, Holi, cultural programs were celebrated there well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee is 12000?/ year. Warden, security will be there 24 hour. Reading room, recreation room, laundry facility, mess,are provided. Cleaning will be done all the day. Neat and clean environment is there.

Admission

I applied after NEET entrance examination( I got 433 mark and AIR was one lack fourty thousand. Later jipmer provided a rank list of applied students and I secured rank within 200.i have reservation for obc category.

Most allied health course in the country does not have dissection in their curriculum, in jipmer ahs students also have to study practical aspect as well. From second year onwards we are posted in our respective departments and classes are given by the professors and residents in the cardiology department

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
