The curriculum is very well planned and is being implemented with utmost care and concern by the very qualified faculties. It includes all theory and practical knowledge and experience through osce, clinical posting etc

Jipmer provides good internship facilities to all courses including mbbs, bsc nursing, and all allied health sciences courses. Provides stable foundation for good career development in the future. Stipend is also of good amount

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure included Fee for first year is 11410 which decreases in subsequent years since in first year we have to pay lots of caution and security deposits to the the college, hostel and mess. The course is affordable. The spent money can be regained through various scholarships.

Campus Life

Jipmer is known for its main all india cultural, arts and sports festival SPANDAN, which includes all the important medical colleges of India. It is a week long gala of fun, festivities and sportsmanship.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility including room, fan, table, chair, light and cupboard for single person. Room is very spacious and with proper ventilation and Lighting. Hostel is situated in residential area with lots of trees, activities, sports , gym etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

The criteria was writing NEET exam and being a citizen of India.The average mark should be above 450.For reservation the mark is comparatively less.The admission is based on the rooster list provided by JIPMER.The application was mainly online.Only the counselling and admission procedure were offline.The exams ie,Internal assessment is done on a regular basis.There will be atleast one exam on every month.The admission procedure should be on mark basis and not on rooster form

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. The cutoffs are really high for mbbs admission and it is usually around 300 AIR for the general category students....Read More

In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
