If there is a lackage of attendance for atleast 2 percentage
There is a system of detaining students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Duration of the course is 4 year. It includes theory classroom class and clinical experience. Theory class need 75%attendece Clinical need 100% attendance 1 month vacation in each year after University examination

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Total tution fee for first year is 12000 For second year it around 6000 From 23 batch onwards stipend is also giving College is providing scholarship NSP scholars is also available You can apply to various other scholarships too

Campus Life

Spandan is the annual festival held at Jipmer at pondicherry. It is occured during the month of August and September. There is a facility of gym , outdoor stadium ,indoor stadium and swimming pool. And they were conducting many cultural and inter college competition for the relief of the students.

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
