My point of view about JIPMER

My course has 3 years academic, in the first one year completely academic subjects only no posting in department and all. First year include Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Pharmacology. And their respective practicals. The second year include complete posting in department of cardiology, posted in ECG , TMT, Holter, Echo, and TEE. We will get nice exposure to do and practice ECG and ECHO. Third year posting is in cathlab, in which we will monitor hemodynamic of patients and defibrillator, and we will be showing fluoroscopy for angiography, Angioplasty, ASD-device closure, VSD-device closure, PDA- device closure, BMV ,BPV, BAV, Pacemaker implant, Electrophysiology studies and ablation. After studying here I'm so confident in doing CPR and Advanced cardiac care. Exams happening every 6 months for us but now it changed to yearly.

Internship opportunities available after the graduation. With stipend of 4950. Emergency duties will be there and so many works with less salary. For mbbs internship stipend is 28000 For Nursing internship stipend is

Tution fee is around 6700 plus advance of 10000. For 3 year complete education fee is 20000, hostel fee 38000, mess fee 108000 . I didn't get any scholarship. Campus is providing internship with stipend of 4950

Annually there a big festival called SPANDAN. It is one of biggest college festival in south INDIA. And other cultural programs like for Holi, Onam , and other festivals. Central library contains almost 10000 plus book related to medicine. Even french books are there. Every class room has screen and all. Sports is well defined in the area of Football, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton,table tennis, Futsal, Volleyball, Throwball Students association is named as Jipmer students association(JSA)which include from every year students. JSA only doing every program in jipmer

Hostel room is nice with provided cot, bed, and fan . Hostel has the facility of washing machine, heater , filter and fridge.AC available in common room. Meal quality is sometimes ok sometimes bad like that Registration for hostel will get during the admission process.

It's based on the rank list from NEET examination. First need to apply, the application form will be available in JIPMER website after NEET examination. Reservation will be there for SC,ST,OBC, and pondicherry candidates.
