campus is very well constructed with all facilities .
The clinical exposure is amazing. Excellent hospital facilities with well equipped departments.
The diversity among our classmates, help to explore people of various culture and language.

Dislikes

Year Back system is there.If you fail in one subject in supplementary, you have to study with juniors.
Mess food feel bad no matter which hostel you are staying in.
If you have attendance shortage, can't able to attend university exam.

Its a 4 year course there is both theory class and clinical experience are provided. 1 month vacation each year after university examination. 75%attendance is necessary to attend university exam and for clinical 100% attendance is necessary if not compensation will be there.

Class Size: 96Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee:INR 11410 PER YR As a central institute, the fees are less when compared to government and private nursing college. For first year we have to pay 11410 as annual fee and secondyear 5760. Jipmer provide hostel facilities and hostel fees are affordable im a range of 20k for first year and 12 k for following years. For single room, pay extra 3000. There are many scholarships available.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. Spandan is the college fest celebrated here it is considered as one of the biggest college fest of south India. The college of nursing has library apart from that we have central library which is functional 24 hrs. The campus has huge playground, an indoor stadium, a swimming pool, library, gym access for its students. As a whole, campus has adequate infrastructure.

Admission

Candidate seeking admission to BSC NURSING at JIPMER must have a valid score in NEET UG. eligible candidates will have to then register for the counselling process conducted by JIPMER itself. Candidates need to fill out the registrartion form for BSC Nursing Counselling on the official website of JIPMER.

From second year onwards we are posted in our respective departments and classes are given by the professors and residents in the cardiology department

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
