- The good thing is that the college campus is very big and clean.
- Greenery is well maintained in the college campus. And there are many fests in the college.
- Horticulture and Agriculture department works very well, various types of trees and plants can be seen here.
Dislikes

- The number of hostels are very less, not everyone gets a hostel here, about 90 percent of students have to live outside
- There is a huge lack of transportation, and most importantly the mess food is very bad.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason behind taking this course was that the folks of Uttarakhand are taught very well here.I was already doing theatre, but after coming here I got a very good knowledge of theatre literature.I have done many plays here and the most important thing is that folk dramas of Uttrakhand are performed very well here. I have seen that the many colleges does not have its own auditorium, but the theatre department here has its own auditorium, which is a very good facility for the students here. Two faculty of our theatre department are Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardees.
Fees and Financial Aid
First of all, let's talk about the course fees, it is very low which is around Rs 2600 per year. This is a central university and the course fees here does not increase quickly, it's very good for students. There is no provision of scholarship or financial aid for students here. There is also some arrangement for campus employment here, the theatre department has a lot of responsibility in every show and some financial help is also provided to the students.
Campus Life
Many theatre festivals are organised here by the Theatre Department. And the most important annual event of this university in which theatre department wins every year. The theatre department has its own library which has more than 3000 books which is a very good thing for the students here. In our department, students can rehearse in the auditorium with lights and sounds. Which is a very good thing. Almost all the games are available for students to play here and most importantly, gym facility are also available here.
Admission
In my time, I applied through CUET in 2023. But now HNBGU has removed the PG Courses from the CUET. And the University has decided to conduct its own entrance exam for Masters courses. Application fees is approx 800Rs, Application dates can be obtained from the university website. The entrance exam will come according to your course.
