Course Curriculum Overview

At Jipmer, the students get a wild exposure to the field and experience to how to handle any medical cases. Faculties is always there. But the examination is somewhat hard. In each department they will take the role to improve the skills.

Placement Experience

Most of the students who studied in Jipmer is getting placement in Jipmer and other central government, state government hospitals and also in foreign countries. After the students passout college will held the placement but for that they have to attend and pass for the examination and interview that held the college

Fees and Financial Aid

At first year for the admission for 1st: 11000fee At second and third the academic fee: 6000 yearly. For University examination for each paper the fee is 500 according to my karikulam. There is internship and campus employment take place.

Campus Life

There holi programme, cult, sports events, the biggest ug medical conference 'Connaissance' and also the biggest festival Spandan is also there. For medication there yoga class and for refreshment there is part and for knowledge library, swimming pool, stadium, football ground, basketball, etc.

Hostel Facilities

For ug students and pg students hostel facilities are provided. Yearly the payment is 12000 and for the mess monthly 3000rupee. The registration process for the hostel will done by after the registration.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

The addmission process held by according to neet marks. At first they will establish list for who and all will get chance for the admission process. The course we can select on the counselling session according to the neet score and category and there is no management involved.

Does Jipmer have BSc courses?

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc Anesthesia technology because I liked to work in operation theatres rather than in wards. 3 tests( internal assessments )are conducted every 3 month ( with the portions covered till the 3 months of duration)and 20 % from each is accounted for the final examination. A model exam is conducted at the end of 3 tests and 20 % from this is taken for the finals. The final examination accounts for 60% and the remaining 40% are considered from the above mentioned tests. A 75% mandatory attendance is required overall to appear in the final examination. And if it is less than 75% the student is detained for the particular subject in which he/she has low attendance % and is allowed to write the exams (3 tests + 1 model exam + finals ) with more than 75% attendance. Teaching is professionally done by the professors, JRs & SRs of Jipmer. Classes are taken in the Jipmer academic centre for the first year and for the next 2 years classes are taken by your departments we chose.

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam.
