Jipmer being a central Institute, students will be getting more chance to attend national Conference s.
Compund of the campus is very clean and maintained properly.
Jipmer is charging only very low academic fee as well as hostel fee which is students friendly.

Dislikes

College doesn't have a proper mess that is accessible to all students.
functions and celebration are less in comparison to other colleges
Nursing hostel is having a curfew of 10 'o'clock but not in other hostels.

In jipmer, they have set a curriculum in such a way that students will be getting more knowledge in theoretical as well as in practical sections. As the students more exposure to various field of medical section, students mould in a skillfull way from this college.

In jipmer, for bsc nursing they are charging an academic fee of 11410 indian rupees in first year and 5760 in subsequent three years. This fee is very less in comparison any other college out there.students can apply for different scholarship according to their category and merit scores in state as well as central level.

Jipmer rather than not just being a medical college, it is providing various opportunities to students to excell in their extracurricular activities which includes sports , yoga, swimming, arts, etc. Sports Including football, basketball, throw ball, hockey, cricket, running, etc. Jipmer have it's own students association called jsa.

After the qualifying the neet exam students apply for jipmer admission through jipmer site itself. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
