Remarks

The infrastructure of the college is mostly the bad remark regarding the college but the college as whole is a good place for academical development of the student.

Entrance Preview

Because the college has a good academical rating compared to other colleges of its financial equivalent. The college offers a good academical benefits for the students. Despite the college having a very bad infrastructure and the high fees, the college is well known for its academical grades.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure as a whole is well focused on research and on point. Even though there are not a number of subject combinations to choose from the Bachelor of Arts course, the course which are available are quite decent as the faculty in charge are very good in their respective subjects.

Internships Opportunities

The college indeed provides internship for the students. As a Sociology Economics core student, I don't require any internship with the subjects i'm taking up.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and Job opportunities are very decent in our college. Students with grades above 80% are almost likely to get a Job as soon as they graduate from their respective courses. Comparing to other colleges regaring placements & job opportunities our college fall in the average section.

College Events

2.5

Events and Festivals celebrated in our college is very diversed. There is no discrimination for any of the religious festivals as all of them are given equal importance and are celebrated enjoyably. The college holds at least 4 events in a year in which any college can participate. Some of the events held by our college are: Umang Fest, Literary Fest, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is extremely expensive with regards to the facilty and activities available to the students. The time given for the students to clear the fees are very limited which makes it extremely hard for majority of the students to clear the fees on time. The late fee charges are too high and they increase every week from the due date.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are quite a few number of scholarships and loan facility offered by our college. The loan is mostly accessible only by students with financial problems.

Campus Life

2

There are end numbers of academical competitions in our college such as debates, quiz, robotics, etc. But apart from academical competitions our college lacks sports activities and competitions. The campus life and gender ratio and the diversity is quite remarkable though.

Hostel Facilities

2

As a student from a different state I am not very proud of our hostel facility. There are a lot of changes that can be made regarding the mess food and the conditions of the hostel as a whole. Hot water is scarce and the transportation for the hostellers can be improved in many ways.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful for the juniors as they are mainly the ones who guide them through their course or any other activities in the college other than the faculties.

Exam Structure

The Exam Structure in our college is extremely helpful for the students as there is an internal exam held every month for each semester. These internal marks later makes up for 30% of our external marks, so every student is most likely to take this exams seriously.

Admission

I got admission based on my grades from the 12th standard. I was introduced to this college in an Educational-Fest held at my state. The details of the admission were discussed in the fest itself. It was quite easy to get an admission if u pay a certain amount of money before-hand.

Faculty

4

As I already mentioned above, the faculties are what makes this course (BA) one of the best courses of the college with high percentage of grades every Examinations. The faculties are well experienced and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Listening to their lectures makes us fall in love with the subject all over again.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
