Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying in computer science and engineering. I was interested to join in this course. Academically this course is beneficial. Our college conduct student development activities and coding events to improve our skills

Internships Opportunities

After completion of second year I have done an internship in VnurtureIT at guntur. There is no stipend we have pay for it. It's a training centre. We have mini project in the 6th semester and main project at final year.

Placement Experience

Previous years my college placements are very good and averages 5lpa. But during this recession period placements have fell down. Not even 25 percent are placed. Very few companies are arriving our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every course has same fee i.e is 66000 per year. Per semester we have to pay 2000 and there is news about hike in the semester exam fee in 2024. 5000 rupees caution deposit taken in process of admission. Scholarships provided for branch toppers every year.

Campus Life

Our college famous technical fest is STEPCONE, it is held every year in month of February. Our library maintenance is very good, accessibility of books through your college id is free for 14days. Extra circular activities will be conducted every week, sports and tournaments are held.

Hostel Facilities

Each room in hostel consist 3 beds and 3 tables. There are totally 5 blocks in boys hostel. Every year block is changed. Food is good, but when coming to Sunday and Monday taste is different. My hostel fees in first year was 89,000 Now in third year it is 99,000.

Admission

I am vamsi from visakhapatnam, andhra pradesh. Joined gmrit in 2021 December 13th on second councelling. I have got same college in 1st councelling also. My eamcet score is 83 and my rank is 5504 in eamcet 2021.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
