IITR college life

everyone knows it is according to your rank and everyone want CS but according to my it was best for me and i have some interest in chemical so i opted for this,the course curriculum is nice but we have to maintain atleast 75% attendance to appear for exams, there is two exam midterm and endterm in each semester,there is total 8 semester and there is credit system for courses, means each course is assigned with some credit point like 2,3,4,or 5. to complete your btech you have to earn around 170-180 credits. there is relative grading system and 10 point cgpa system. exam difficulty is not matter that much since it is relative system so you just need prepare 1 week before exam to get 7-8 sgpa in a subject

in 3rd year you are aplicable for intern and you can get intern easily if start prepare early and maintain cgpa above 8, you can add project which need to verify by pic and improve you resume,you can do projects under profs in summer of 2nd year end,if you have prepared good then you can get upto 1lac per moth as stipend and min stipend is 25k,if you are not able to get on campus intern then you have to try off campus beacuse you some cousse in next semester inwhich you have to share you intern experience

so in 3rd year you are eligible for internship from campus and and in 4rth year for placement ,in 2024 everywhere placements are not good so in our campus as well i got placed in reliance,in our batch 52 lpa is max 75% got placed till jan ,some others in second phase and not also,some going for higher studies, some have prepared for gate as well. almost all top companies visited like google,microsoft,flipcart,quantbox,paypal,zomato etc. highest package is 2cpa,for cs,ec,ee, almost 100% got placed,for other less placement in2024 .

if you are general or obc category student and do not fall in ews income slab then you have to pay 100000 tution fee and 40000 for mess and hostel fee per semester .if ifamily income is less than 1 lac than 0 tution fee for all category ,if family income between 1lac to 5lac 2/3 tution fee weiver for obc and general .for sc/st students tution fee is 0 and they have to pay 40000 per semester,if your air is under 250 in advance then you will awarded with thomson scholarship of 25000 per month for whole program but you have to maintain 8 or above cgpa. you can also get merit cum means for free messing for sc/st student you have to maintain 7or above cgpa. for placment in core chemical there it reliance(9lpa) ,petronet(14lpa), bpcl(18lpa),jindal(8.5lpa),aarti industry(8lpa) .i prepaired for non core but due to worst placement in2024 i have to go for core (reliance). highest non core placement is 52 lpa in zomato through ppo

iitr campus is very good . it has annual cultural fest thomso around mid october . this is very enjoying so many college students come and participate in different events like fashion,dance etc.it is 3 day event and on night of each day any popular celebraty is called they perform and student enjoy it. there is also technical fest called cogni,and sport event called sangram also organised, there is convocation hall where we see new released movies, there is 2 lecture hall apj and gargi , there is so many groups in which you can joing in first and second year they are very helpful for you personality.i was in nss editorial cell

In hostel you have only one table ,one bed,one chair only,the room is good and alloted singly,i am in RKB ,mess is at ground floor and we get good breakfast ,around 7:30 - 9:30 in morning , lunch at 12:30 - 2:30,and dinner at 7:30- 9:30 ,in breakfast 1glass milk ,1egg/2banans,kala chana,dalia ,bread,conflakes this items are fixed and main item changes every day like sunday parantha, monday poha etc. there is no ac in room only fans are there ,earlier their was lan but now only wifi is there ,you can use it anywhere in campus.

After Counselling of josaa we got our college and branch according to our all India rank, Admission process was online we have assigned college mail id and all related processes is shared on college mail id, since it was online we just had to upload all related document mention on college website on time,and when we go to college then we have to submit our document file (it may be different for other years because at our time it was lockdown due to covid)
