Entrance Preview

I scored 108 in MHCET in year 2012-13 and i google a lot about this college. According to me the college is good and regarding studies they are actually very serious.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good and pre-planned so that students get time for studies.

Internships Opportunities

I have yet not done with the internship but yes college do provide internships.

Placement Experience

Placements completely depends upon the students performance. If the student is eligible and has a good score,IQ, technical knowledge then he,she will definitely be placed in a good company under SKNCOE name.

College Events

Since SKN gives higher priority to studies no of festivals and other co-curricular act ivies are limited. But it's not Skn don't celebrate its like you will never know when the event occurred and finished too.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome as the vadgaon campus is one of the biggest campus in pune colleges. Here you will find pretty,hot girls too. But girls here have a lot of attitude.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good,mess is bad. Food provided by mess is not that good and mostly you would spend 50% of your money for outside food.

Generally you will find your seniors in college only. Yes they are cooperative and helpful too.

Faculties are good compared to other colleges. 3 out of 10 would be like having less knowledge,poor english,strict.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. The college life i have.....

Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
