its is awesome course. College focus most in practical learning. Yes research initiatives were taken by institute. There is no elective options

Internships Opportunities

yes college provide intership in 5 star hotels for 17 weeks. Learned lot in industrial training.Rs 1000 is average stipend amount for months

Placement Experience

Good reputed companies comes for campus placement.100% student are got placed. TAJ Group,ITC,PARK,IHG,BATA,CCD,DOMINOS etc visited the campus. Average package is around 300000 rupees per annum

College Events

College organise sports week and cultural week for students as well as college organise food fest in January. most students prefer to play cricket. Organization is excellent and college authorities also contribute for the same.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is afordable for poor and middle class students.around Rs 300000 is total expenses.for hostel around 50000 rupees is total expenses for 3 year.

No college did not provide any scholarship. No i did not avail any scholarship.No college did not help in geeting loan.

Hostel Facilities

There are both single and sharing room.27 single room is for 3rd year students and rest is sharing room.food is delicious and we pay 1600 per month for food and 15000 per annum for accommodation.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

There is no interaction between alumni of college and student of college. College did not provide proper platform for student alumni interaction. Alumni contribute in the overall development of the college as well as the students

Faculty

Highest qualification of faculties is post graduate.they are friendly and they interact with each and every student.

Build a Career with NSHM Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.

NSHM Hotel and Tourism Management, Durgapur - A Place to Study

Placement Experience:

Students are given placements before the final year. A lot of companies come with Oberoi, Taj, Marriott and others. International Placements is done through companies who conduct online interviews, but i dont know what paramters they ask in interview. But placements is 100%. Placements in India is around 4LPA while International it is more than 12-15 LPA

After giving NCHMCT JEE 2024 i lost hope that I cannot clear the exam and applied to IIHM and gave PI there. I was selected in IIHM and when NCHM results were declared i cleared that too surprisingly with an AIR 500. Then there were many process. IHM Kolkata an experience

In order to take admission in any IHM we need to give JEE exam for Hotel Managment and depending on your rank they allow you to choose the college of your liking. E.g My All india rank was 803 which allowed me to choose from top seven colloges of IHM. I opted for Kolkata as it was close to my hometown.
