Course Curriculum Overview

The computer engineering is most popular field. Now a days, everyone is looking for computer engineers. Because today's world is now become a fully digitized and for this work, the need of computer engineers is increasing every day. So, our college is mostly focuses on the practical learning. Research initiatives are also taken like introducing some new softwares coding, hackthon, etc. IT is the elective option available for the same.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides good platform for the internships. Also provides permission letter for getting internship in different companies. Average stipend amount is Rs. 5,000/- per month.

Placement Experience

This college has good placements. About 50% students got placed every year. There are many more talented students passout every year and also most of the companies are visited like Nokia, Syntel, persistant pvt. ltd., HDFC bank, honeywell, etc. Average package offers is Rs. 5 LPA.

College Events

College is participating in Firodiya and purushottak karandak. So, this is very good platform for the students to show their inner talent in sports. College is constantly winning lots of prizes every year. Also other festivels are very good in this college.

I was taken admission in direct second year engineering. Fees are different for regular and DSE admission students. My tution and development fees were Rs. 74,000/-. And these were increases to Rs. 80,000/- including all fees.

Faculty

Faculty members are somewhat experienced. Some are Ph.D. holders and some are now pursuing their Ph.D. Good interaction with students. Easily understand the student's problems. The teaching standard is awesome and every concept is easily understandable.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

As i am lateral entry student this College was my first preference in Cap round after diploma , as i wanted to do specialization in this field not in mechanical enigeering , not in any other engineering , but in automobile and DPCOE was offering this course so DPCOE was my first preference as i was searching for automobile engineering specifically. Admission process was pretty simple after diploma , when lateral entry cap round begun i filled online admission form of DEGREE and i listen DPCOE as my first preference and in first cap round i got this college, I received my allotment , then i for offline confirmation i did was my admission process which went smooth , fees were to be paid also we are allowed to pay in installments so . Your Life in DPCOE

So , basically any college you go it will be the same let it be the teachers or students. I had chosen other colleges too, but this one got assigned in CAP round so took it. Others colleges had little higher cutoff so didn't got into them. But overall as per my experience every college is the same. Just make a friend group in beginning a good one.
