A review from a student of Sikkim University

The course is designed to help us in both theory and practical knowledge. The university also joined the New Education Policy so the course for newly coming students is much more versatile. The faculties are great and they are from various region.exams are also held just like any other university

Different companies outside of sikkim and also some of sikkim are providing internship to students and also sikkim is a place where there is many 5star hotels and students also get opportunity over there in hospitality sector

The placements are provided to students and it's not like it's great but doable. Also now newly activated campus placement cell is going to provide students more opportunity. Also students of different department like MBA MCA the are also provided internship during the course also

The main admission to the university differs according to different courses because sikkim university provides many courses, but the maximum admission to the university is about 7k nd after that per semester fee is around 1200-6000 as per as courses

The newly constructed university campus us huge and beautiful with lots of facilities. Before it doesn't has any kind of permanent campus although there are many groups events that occur which hepls students to interact and also university has great halls and conference halls where there always some kind of events going on.

The university has total 6 girls hostel and 5 boys hostel. The room structure may vary and it goes from single and two students allotted to a room to maximum 3 in a room.. Rooms are huge and the views from the windows are blissful as the buildings are situated at the hills

Admission is through CUET. It is a very easy process through online mode and university also provide contacts in case students need any kind of help. Reservation is as per basic guidelines. The hostel facilities are also good and also more than 90% get hostel seats
