Likes

The hostel I live in has accomodated many memories of mine along with all the oer friends .
The friends are the best part of campus life be it anywhere in the world
Besides the punctuality and deidication of the teaching staff in the department of physics is among the things I like the most.

Dislikes

Meal quality at the hostel could have been improved.
The drainge system of the campus needs to be developed a bit so that students don't face any trouble while going to class in rainy days.
Sports facilities are not explored properly though there are sporting talents here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Physics as a subject contains enough reason to choose it as a course in university. It nit only gives one a bachelor degree in physics but also the credibility of getting a graduation certificate from a NAAC A++ accredited university which provides individuals to pursue various courses in esteemed universities and improves one CV. The teaching method if brought to more analytical can bring about a change in the system.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of education here is quite affordable and economic considering the perks it provides. No scholarships from the university side but can expect scholarship from the state and central government.

Ravenshaw university is well known for its festivals and fests. From every hostel to every department,every one celebrates annual functions,technical fests,cultural and literary meets along with sports and games. Besides the presence of NCC and NSS adds to the beauty of this university having all the wings such as army,airforce ,navy.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities are quite moderate and so are the meals. But again if we consider the amout of money in reutun they are taking,then we can't just deny that we're being served decently if not astonishingly. The hostel administration is very heartwrenching and the procedure of admission in pretty smooth.

Hostel Fee: INR 4500 per year

Admission

Eligibility is based on the 12th standard boards marks. One needs to get nearly around or above 94% so as to get a physics honours seat in Ravenshaw University. The university has affiliated to the SAMS portal where one can find the procedure of admission and the various details such as application form,fees etc. Being a 3 years course student,having semester every six month,the difficulty of the paper remains easy to moderate depending on the core paper. Improvement can be brought out in the admission process by making it more digitally convenient.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum activity are so enjoyable here and it is expensive for us Every year there are held sports and anual function and the rewards also have for the participants. Teaching methods are good but in computer science department there is only 3 faculty. So sometimes classes are suspended due to teacher absence. The exam time is so good for us. There are gives us 3hr per paper in semester.

This course should teach you about hte basic of the computers to the neddium level of difficulties in computer s. through the entire course year you got to know about different languages like c ,c++ ,java ,python, css, html and database etc.. but there is little much improvement needs towards the teach way of database and mathematics of computer so it can be eassy for student to get understand the concepts. the exams are some times happen in the 5 monts or 4 monts but its usually happens in a interval of 6 months.

Placement Experience:

After your fifth semester, you are eligible for campus placement with different company come to the college to recruit new candidates. Most of the companies you visit to our campus TCS, Wipro, Infosys and many more. As far as I know, the highest package was recorded in the year 2022 was 6 lakh. The percentage is above 70 or 75%. I am going to pursue for master's course after getting this degree.

I hadn't applied for any other college because my university is the best institute for higher studies in Odisha and I wasn't supposed to go anywhere out of the state. Ravenshaw is the best
