OVERVIEW OF IIT BHUBANESHWAR

Actually i am intrested in circuits .so thats why i want to choose ece or ee in iits .actually for my rank also i am getting those branches only in the second tier IIT's .so thats why i choose that course.as now i am studying in electrical engineering branch we will be having electrical technology and electrical machines as of now .we will be having labs also on those courses .so will be experiencng real world experiences based on them.we are much more comfortable with our cirucculum .so no need of improovement .we will be having one mid sem and one end sem .mid sem is 2hr exam .end sem is 3 hr exam.exam are quite difficult because everything is appilication based.

we will be offered google step intern for girls . i know only this much about internships . for non core if we prepare cpp , dsa , java script , webdevelopment its better .for core if we do the projects under our faculty its very beneficial.

actually good number of students get placed in our college .but due to recession this the count has been decreased . in 7 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. compaies visited are microsoft , brane , vedanta ltd etc . as of now 53% of the students got placed as by oracle review. highest package is 64 lpa . lowest 6lpa . average is 15 lpa . actually more than 80 % will be placed every year. my plan is to join in a non core job . after degree i will do the job and try to have my own company.

fee structure is like 1.33 lakhs tution fees and 18 thousand hostel fees .its for one semester.for sc and st candidates no tution fee .and and for ews and obc having students if income is between 1 to 5 lpa then 66% remission on tution fee whereas if income is less than one lakh then full remission on tution fee .all other medical insurance etc are included in tution fee.one scholarship named mca is appilicable .its requirements are also same as the college remission rules . as i am insecond year still i didnt get any employement .

my overall experience with campus life is awesome. we have 4 fests one is sports fest one is entrepreneuiral fest one is tech fest one is cultural fest. sports fest is held in december .other 3 are held in jan-feb month . we have the best library every book is available there.we have 2 lecture hall complexes and one laboratory complex and 7 schools as of now .the facilities are very good .we have student activity centre for all sports and cultural activity .we have well facilitated lawn tennins , bb courts , volley ball courts .in first year we will be having yoga also .we have 7 technical societies and 14 cultural socities .all those are governed by the students itself. even the instagram portals of every society is handled by the students itself . students will be leaning lot from them for example they will learn managing skills , confidence etc. and we will be giving position of resposibility which can be included in their cv's.

in iit bhubaneshwar we have 6 hostels .2 for girls and 3 for boys and 1 for married couples .we have single rooms.thats the best thing we have .we will be having our own privacy .we will be having one fan one cot one study table ,one chair ,one big cupboard one balcony for each room. snack and breakfast are very good .whereas lunch and dinner are not nice. every month we will have special dinner .fish chicken egg are served. for veg paneer and mushroom are special. our registration for hostel will be done at the hostel itself at the start of the academic year . 18000 rs per semester . very good .its affordable rather than other colleges.

I WROTE JEE ADVANCED EXAMINATION .ITS ELIGIBILITY OF WRITING IS AFTER 12 TH STANDARD. for writing jee advanced you have to write jee mains .its details are found in nta.jeemain website after qualifying in jee mains we will be writing jee advanced .for me ews reservation is availed .for qualifying in mains for ews we have to get atlest 80 percentile in ews category. jee mains is a 3 hour exam whereas jee advanced is conducted in 2 slots ,both on the same day ,and each slot is of 3 hours .both the exams consists of 3 subjects maths physics and chemistry.mains is quite easy because some direct questions will be there from ncert textbook whereas jee advanced is quite difficult because its completely appilication based.jee advanced details are found in jee adv.nic.ac.in. both the exam details can be found in josaa website and counselling process for the colleges are also done in that website itself. actually the area of improovement is nothing all are ok.
