Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers a wide range of relevant topics in business administration while ensuring depth in core areas. The course is addressing contemporary issues and emerging trends in the business world. The inclusion of case studies, practical projects, and industry interaction makes the curriculum relevant. The presence of specialized courses like financial modeling, strategic management, and marketing analytics. The internships, practical experiences, and networking events have influenced my decision. The integration of internships, consulting projects, and opportunities for learning experiences prepares students well for real-world applications. The curriculum should be enhanced with more practical lectures, and guest lectures rather than theoretical knowledge. The teaching method should include more case studies and group projects for deeper understanding There is a trimester pattern at MBA in NMIMS where a year exam is held 3 times a year with a moderate to high difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is provided on the basis of what we have learnt in our 1st years to have practical experience and real life experience. There are various companies coming to the internship were the highest stipend offer was 1,70,000 and average stipend was 48,158.
Placement Experience
From 2 year the students are eligilbe for the palcements, and there are various comapnies coming to campus like servicenow, ICICI BAnk, HSBC and tally. The highest package offered was 28.05 lakh and average package was 13.01 lakh. The comapny has a track record of 100% placement. 196 students were there and no. of offers made were 196. After getting degree,I would be doing my job intially.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees increase 1,00,000 per years and hostel fees increases 25,000 per year. Hostel is complusory for the students. There is a deposit of 16,000 needed to be pay in the first year. There is no scholarships or financial aid avaviable for students. The intenship average is 48,158 per month, the intenship is for a period of 2 month. the complete cost of my education was 22,33,000.
Campus Life
There are various annunal festivals held in our college on various festivals like holi in march, Pongal, Lohri etc. The college library offers an extensive collections of books, journals,and digital resources. With access to online database students can delve into research across feilds. The range of materials avaiable caters to both academic and recerational intrests, ensuring students to have ample resources to support their learnings. The campus provide various sports facilities like cricket, football and basketball ground and various indoor games like badminton and also have dedicated game room where we can play carrom, fuse ball and table tennis to promote physical fitness and holistic development. There is a cricket tournament held every year. There are various student run clubs and committes like finance club which provides deep understanding of finance, which help me improve my knowledge in finance. It also teaches about team work and collabaration.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides the facility of the hostel which is complusory for the students. The rooms provided are A/C rooms, seperate study table in room as well as a common study room in hostel. The hostel also contains GYM room, TV room and Game room. Room cleaning service is also provided. The menu provide wide range of food from north indian food to south indian food and taste is also good. On the website, we need to fill the basic details and attach the photo and also select the hyderabad campus and pay the fees, and as when we reach campus we get hostel. Afffordability is there as hostel is complusory. Campus is resendial campus so hostel is inside the campus.
Admission
NMIMS Hyderabad has eligibility depending upon the course. For MBA the eligibility of the course is needed to clear the NMAT exam, the score should be above 200 to qualify, and the applicant should be in the final year or passed the final year of their graduation. The application form is available on their website, need to create an account, fill out personal and academic details, and upload the necessary documents after creating an account you need to book the slot for the exam and make the payment for the application form i.e. 2800. The last date to apply for the NMAT exam is 30 Oct' 24. After the NMAT exam, if we clear the cut then WAT/ GDPI takes place, and after that interview. The NMAT is conducted once a year for a specific period which is from September to December with having 3-time slots - morning afternoon and evening. The difficulty level is easy to moderate. For rescheduling, they charge 1500 extra which is high this should be improved. There is no reservation at NMIMS Hyderabad.
Interview Experience
There was not group decission but there was a written test assesment and interview. At first there was a written test assesement for which we were alloted a specific time limit to attend that test. The topic given was " Should emojis be used at workplace" . We needed to give our reviews on it. Thereafter the written test we had an intreview round the question includes about the academic qualifications, carrer goals, strength and weakness, personal background, educational experience , problem solving abilities and knowledge about the feild of business. Behavioural Questions were also asked to understand how I respond to certain situations. The admission process was simple we need to clear the cutoff of NMAT to appear for the written test and interview process. Preparation 1) Staying updated on current affairs topics,business news and industry trends. 2) Prepare basic intreview concepts and practice mock intreview. 3) Brush up academics fundamentals and prepare problem solving ability.
