Course Curriculum Overview

I selected Electronics and telecommunication branch. The first year of college was very good and the teachers focused on every student. The environment at the college was like "if you pass the first year you then remaining 3 years would be very easy". So the most number of backlogs come in the 2nd year. There are no such research initiatives. College takes 80 percent of its student through management quota. So most of the students are not deserving to be on the basis of merit. There is a total imbalance. Neither college nor faculties are concerned about students future. Few faculties are their who tries to give their best.

Internships Opportunities

No, college doesn't provide an internship. Most of the students even don't know what stipend is. They college Nevers leaves an opportunity to grab money rather giving it to students.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is very bad. Companies like Wipro Infosys TCS have already blacklisted this college, hardly 5 percent of students get placed. The maximum package is 3.6lac.

College Events

The technical fest organized in the campus are Techno fest, Sparx. Cultural fest like Marichika. Udaan. Not so big as the boys will come to Drunken. All the boys from the college and few girls will attend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very high. It is 1.20lac per annum. It is not that affordable. That to the exam fees are 3000rs +. The university people will check papers with the least care and scoring marks are very tough. So you will need to keep on filling forms.

The college provides the scholarship to backward caste people.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is only for the 1st year. Food was decent. Rooms are decent good for studies.shared room.

3,4 teachers have done m.tech from IITs remaining are from other local colleges. The faculty is below average. The course is based just to pass the exam not knowledge oriented.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

Best college review

I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
