Course Curriculum Overview
Personally, my reason behind choosing this field is that I want to set mt carrier in business sector..and I m a aspirant of CA.. and bcom hons course included all the subjects included in the CA . This course really helps me in understanding daily life applications of understanding businesss areas about the management of finances and most important my decisions making ..how to handle a situation especially in business situations .u can also go for other options like cma , cs , banking sector, finance , management field and many more ..there are a lot of career opportunities after this course . Overall the curriculum is good but I think students should be provided more of practical knowledge and real life project opportunities than theoretical knowledge. Bcom hons is a three year ug course and we have 6 semesters ( 2 semester per year ).not a much difficult course but a deeper study of each subject is done as compared to bcom pass course
Internships Opportunities
A lot of intership opportunities are provided.. recently I have joined AI course with interslite company in collaboration with NITS harimpur . Ull be given real time projects to enhave your practical skills and knowledge
Placement Experience
The campus placement are not that much good but still can be said average.the highest package offerd in bcom hons is 45000 per month. The students are eligible for the placement are their graduation and internship opportunities are also provided with reputed companies. About 40% students are placed every year . And the placement department is also improving it's workings . After completing my degree i'll complete my MBA continuing with cma

A lot of opportunities are provided for students like scholarships every month worth upto 25000 and the campus itself provides work opportunities for students making their side income .the campus started the earn while you learn scheme which helped students making their college fees.
Campus Life
The most important event of Rajiv Gandhi South campus, bhu one should never miss ...the disha event .. personally one of my bestest experience and memories are from this event ..along with this many other events like the malviya jayanti , the independence day republic day and festivals like holi Diwali are also celebrated The library facility of the campus is also good . U r required to issue a library card on the behalf of which u can issue any book from library. All kinds of books are available and recently a cyber library is about to start in the campus . The classrooms are properly maintained and the campus has smart class rooms well air conditioned. Every year annual sports competition is held where a large number of student participate. The campus also provide gym facilities, a proper well maintained stadium. Many seminars are conducted on other important aspects of life like on girls education, girls safety, preparation of competitive exams , and many more .

Admission
Hii everyone Myself Neha Chaudhary I took admission in Rajiv Gandhi South campus of Banaras Hindu University in 2023-24. The admission process is as you are required to appear in cuet exam and choose subjects in cuet as per the university requirements for that particular course Many people think cuet is very hard but trust me ..cuet is much much simpler than other competitive exams .just focus on ncert and i personally recommend ncert books and the cuet adda app for the preparation..they provide you the best teachers and the teaching and with all this I got 677 out of 800. Once selected..a very simple process just need to open the admission website of bhu and print your admission letter and go to bhu main campus where your documents will be verified and they'll ask u to go to the south campus ,where u'll be required to pay the hostel fees which is 7500 annual and declining as u move to next year ..once all the payments made all documentation work done u r ready to go ....
