Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects were there topics of the course were very good and didn't fine anywhere else. Exposure to the labs and experiments are good and get learn many new things. From my point of view there no such improvement in curriculum and teaching Maximum Marks should be allotted for what we write in the exams

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is 172000 there are no scholarships available And they should minimise the amount or record book since they take this fee and can't give record books They charge too much for even program's organised by the college itself

Campus Life

We had sports day indoor and track events in different months we have aikya which is a event that celebrates all religions festival together ie. Diwali, Christmas,eid ,dashara,holi, etc and each class was given a theme to perform according to the festival it was very nice. We had even goonj and inter class event its a variety competition between 4 groups which includes all the people from different class and year which had varities of competition and programs to be performed Then we had namaste an conference for North people and had to present their projects and they had guve some performance and even our college had give performance showing the culture of Karnataka And we are having a intercollegiate feast which includes varities of competition

Admission

Admission process was both online as well as offline. There was no entrance exam. Application form was available online and we had to fill it and submit it during the admission process. I opted for Msc microbiology and there were 11+1 intake and now there are 13 students in our class. There is no such thing that i have not like about the admission process it went smoothly and the assigned staffs were good and clear about the course.

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews

An in-depth review of college facilities and faculty from admission to campus life

This college gave me a scholarship as my mother teaches at Nitte University so I got a half concession in my fees. This college has collaborations with many others colleges like malaysia ect. Most of the physiotherapy colleges start their admission soon after the 12 board exams, since this course does not require any additional exams to be qualified a person much get his admission as soon as possible as the seats get full very fast. Every college has almost the same fees but the admissions close very fast due to the high demand of this course in the recent years. To get an admission in this college we have to submit our 10 and 12 marks card, birth certificate, aadhar.
