My Experience at IIT Patna

I chose Artificial Intelligence And Data Science because there an increasing scope in the field of AI and ML. It is bit more attracting people nowadays. Some more courses and labs should be included in the course for practical knowledge. Exams are held two times per semester. In the mid of semester Mid Semester Exams are taken then End Semester Exams.

On campus interships are offered from month of August . A number of companies visit the campus during the intership period. Various roles are offered like SDE , Product Analyst , Data Analyst, Research Intern The stipend vary from campany to company. The range of stipends is Rs. 70000 to Rs. 180000

Campus Placements are the main attraction for students taking admission in IITPatna. Students from 7 th semester are eligible for on-campus placements. Companies like Google , Atlassian , Flipkart , Sprinkler and many more offer internship oppurtunies and placements on regular basis. In CSE departments the placement rate is 100 percent.

Tution Fee for IIT Patna is Rs 100000 per semester. Gymkhana fee is Rs.7400 per semester . Hostel fee is Rs.9000 per semester.MCM Scholarship is also offered here. Mess fee is not included in institute fee.

Anwesha - Cultural fest of IITPatna . It is the biggest fest in the region. It is typically held in month of January. Celesta - Technical fest of IITPatna. It is held in month of October. A number of intersting and fun events are held under Celesta. TedX is also organised here. Infinito is the Sports Fest of IITP.

There are three boys hostels in IITPatna named as CV Raman , Kalam Hostel and Aryabhatta hostel. Each have a capacity of 1000 students . Asima is girls hostel here. Onspot registrations are one done while taking admission into the hostel. Mess food is average here. Not too bad not too good.

You have clear JEE Advanced for taking admission in any Btech Program in IIT Patna. Seat Allocation is done through JoSAA Counselling. There are six rounds in JoSAA counselling . Seats are alloted on the basis of Cutoffs of the branches. Application forms are released when JoSAA counselling starts after 20-25 days of JEE Advanced. A total amount of 35000 is to be paid during counselling to freeze your seat . For taking admission into a Btech course in IITPatna , you should have cleared JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. You can check for previous year cutoffs on JoSSA website Admission process is hassle free, as such no improvement is needed .
