Gitam is a deemed university . They conduct every year GAT exam , we have qualify that exam , according to GAT rank our branches will be chosen by counselling process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Coming to course details it was well planned by experienced professors of gitam keeping a average students capacity in mind and according to this they planned a five year course neglecting all less useful syllabus .

Internships Opportunities

Coming to internship, we have to choose an industry and we have to get permissions college will not help you. We have to do a 3 months internship.

College Events

In gitam every day is a festive day, something will be going in gitam campus's auditoriums. Gusac is a event every year students celebrates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is increasing year by year. Now it was around 2 lacs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Gitam will offers us a scholarships according to our performance giving a chance to students approximately 10% of our class strength. We can also apply for education loan in different banks.

Campus Life

Its a different world we cannot wish to loose a gitam campus life. We will miss it at the end of our college days. All extra curricular activities are more in gitam college every branch students will organise a events relevant to their branch.

Exam Structure

Exams structure is good but all exams will go one by one not even a single day holiday. Exam will be continuous not like JNTU pattern.

Think and investigate before you join in any college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we will get eligible for placements but at 7th semester we have to do internships. So, those we will do internship at 8th semester will attend that placements. They will show companies like Facebook,Google , Amazon , ISRO in their websites. But actual companies what we get are Surya tech solutions, AR tech solutions, paltech ,and other Chennai based companies. Especially for Electronics and communication technology they will not provide any better placements when compared to other departments.

Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
