In our mechanical engineering we study about the physics concept which are used in the technology for development of the nation. I like use concept of physics like gyroscope and heat energy etc. Our curriculum helps us understand the working of engines, turbines etc. And also helps in understanding of friction and darg

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no tuition fee increase policy in our college. The total fee of our course is around 2 lakhs and around 20000 is spends on examination fees and around 1 lakh on other expenses. We students can apply for scholarship through National Scholarship portal. There are many scholarships which can help students economically

Campus Life

I have very good experience of campus life. There many cultural activities like cultural night and cultural fest, in which I have participated and I have very good experience about that. There are many events like annual which happens in October and November and sports meet

Admission

For BTech direct entry we have to complete our 12 th from pcm with minimun 60% . After that we have to apply for online application form from hptu official website. After that we have to appear for entrance exam. Mainly the cutoff depends upon the highest scored.

JUIT- beautiful place

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement but you can apply off-campus if you want. A lot of times off-campus placements are of better amount than on campus placements. Almost out of 400 students present in a year, 100 get very good on campus placements.(Almost above 10 lakhs) 100 get between 5-10 lakhs And rest ho for higher degrees although they get a placement of 4-5 lakhs

Most companies related to textile industries come for placement as it is one and only one government college in Himachal which offers textile engineering. The average package is about 6,7 lakhs Almost 30% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to pursue for my further studies

THE BEST COLLEGE AS OF MY DREAMS

Placement Experience:

after 6th semester the placements begins at NITH many Tech companies visit at NITH like Amazon , Flipcart, Paytm,samsung,oracle ,infosis etc.The highest palcement package is 1.73 crore in 2023 and average package is about 15 LPA about 80% of students got placed and also many of students opt for higher studies, i try to get placement if i get and not then go for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Opportunities for placements are quite well. Before COVID lots of companies came for placements and post the number of companies was reduced. I want to join a company after getting my degree. I am not interested in higher studies.
