Likes

The campus is green and open. There is no dress code.
The campus is very clean and the people are helpful
Clubs are frequently organising student engaging activities

Dislikes

Faculty can be better, teachers are absent
Fests don't have much financial aid, thats why no popular artist is invited.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is quite wide, still not perfect. It will include computer science subjects along with Maths, Statistics or Physics subjects depending upon your selection of subsidiary and minor subjects. Now its a 4 year course, thats why it is more comprehensive on the new technologies like Ai and ML as subjects. Semester exams commence in every 5 months, and class test (sessionals) are more frequent . 70% marks are decided in the end sem exam, and 30% are sessional marks.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 4395 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure goes like, in the first year it is around 10K (excluding hostel) and in second, third year it goes to around 5K only. The hostel fees is 2000 rs. Only (excluding mess). Various scholarships are available time to time if you come from a weak family background, they provide a month on month of cheque slip of scholarships.

Campus Life

Different departments host various cultural fests, like "ASAAS" is organised by MBA department, and "VERCERA" by engineering college, and the CEC head all of them, you can expect to have some fun here, but don't get your hopes high for Concerts of famous singers or dancers. Multiple clubs are present for studentes engagement, Computer science society to Mountaineering club to horse riding club. You can actually go from zero to a state level player from these.

Admission

The application form starts around the month of July, application form fee is minimal (around 1000).If you have maths in your 12th class, you are eligible for Bsc Computer Applications. Forms are available at their website AMU controller of exams. Reservation is based on central list.

Likes

The entire College campus is very beautiful
Here practical knowledge is preferred morethan other colleges
Almost Teachers are very friendly and helpful

Dislikes

Somehow basic facilities are messed up like clean washrooms in departments
Sone Departments also don't have drinking water supply for students including mine

Placement Experience:

Basically students from 5th semester become eligible for placement, there are a number of companies which are visited for placement my course doesn't offer placement but many courses like bca, bba, b pharma, biotechnology etc have good placement opportunities Opting for an msc is good for students wanting to pursue bsc zbc

Likes

The environment of campus and classes are very good.
Support of management and faculty in problem is very good.
Students and teachers bond is very good, all the facilities are very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements of university is good in every department of the university, around 5500+ placements Happened this year from my university with a good package in good companies. These were many companies visit our university for placements like, Capgemini, Infosys, Microsoft, Tata, Appollo Healthcare, Phillips, etc.

Likes

I like there teachers teaching methods and their dedication about their responsibility
I like there teachers behaviour if you can't understand what they teaches you can ask again and they will again explain you with patience
I like there laboratory where I derive conclusions by myself

I don't like there one aged teachers behaviour which belong to physics faculty
I don't like there lover point where students sit all day with their girls or boys
I don't like there security guards duties they did not ven check that who is entering in the college

Overall it's was average college as it is not an metropolitan city

Teachers were cooperative and so the faculty .
Very reasonable price for such courses like B.Sc , BA , B.Com

Dislikes

Infrastructure is veryyyyy bad there are proper sufficient area but no infrastructure
Very unhygienic and no amenities of basic college like potable water , hygienic sitting arrangement, broken doors and tables, no digi boards etc
There's no modern ways of learning nor electronics aids for better learning also there's no laboratory for experiment nor tools and ingredients

I had interest in chemistry & zoology so i wanted to pursue B.Sc for my graduation There were no trouble for admission & no strict rules and regulations of policies Infrastructure i would recommend them to ask authority to work on the amenities & resources and better environment with modernized methodologies of teaching with electronic aid will automatically improve the quality of education Frequency of exams were fine and it was pretty average level any average student can learn and write answers with understanding of topics

First of all I would like to tell you about the staff of my college. The staff of my college is very polite.
The atmosphere of my college is very clean
My college also has the facility of extra classes and library.

Dislikes

It is better if the environment is clean as well as cool then I face a problem of trees.
And if there are more than one lecturer in the staff, it will be easier to have lecturers for one subject.

This college is based on Merit list. Thats why we didn't need to qualify any type entrance for getting Admission. At my admission time the cut off of b.sc was 73%.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any). I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy.
