Course Curriculum Overview

It's a regular curriculum with strict rules enclosed.Teaching is exceptionally good but the curriculum lacks in practical things .Relative grading will be there.But there has to be some changes in the curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

There exist a mandatory internship you have to do after your 2nd yr it's not provided by the college you may do under the professors and offline but they will award 2 credits for that ..coming to the interns in the 3rd yr itself you will be open to face the interviews attend the cbt and all

Placement Experience

In the 3rd itself you are allowed to compete for placements but cg matters a lot .from the day 1 if 4th yr placement season begins the placements are very good if you are a skilled person then there is no bar for you .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is pretty nominal.Based on your income waivers are also alloted . Scholarship based on merit caste and alla will be provided .Campus placements will be provided based on your performance and overall Cgpa matters a lot.

Spring spree is the cultural fest and technozion is the technical fest held once a year .these are the biggest events held in NIT Warangal you will enjoy explore and get to know about mang things wide range of exposure will be there you have chance to meet celebrities and have many opportunities to participate in the extra curricular activities and showcase your talents and skills.

Hostel Facilities

Coming to the hostel pov some are newly renovated have good quality of doors taps and alla but room sharing thing is not a good one .because the room s are toos small they are alloting 2 persons bare min in single vacancy room.mess is the worst thing the biggest drawback of NIT warngal is the mess food .there will be no sanitation no proper serving they don't even provide sufficient food and the quality and taste are too bad hostel life and mess are very poor here

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

Must pass inter board with a min of 65 percent .Have to clear jee mains with a good percentile.Cuttoff varies from branch to branch depending upon the demand of that particular branch min cut off will be around 95 percentile for general category . Reservation benefits are enormous.

Worth considering for your tech career

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Honest review on KMIT

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Reality of deccan college of engineering and technology

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
