Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is filled with practical and technical learning. every lab is a new experience every topic is a fresh start so when you know nothing you feel learning better. and that makes my course the best. Practical learning is given importance under all the circumstances. But we a lot practically in the labs as they are much lively and these are related to the real-life examples so its a good place to learn. The R&D is lead by Mr. Elangovan he is awarded the young scientist award of India. he is supported by the faculty and the students. the students and teachers are very interested in taking up initiatives they are very interested in taking up new projects and helping the students to understand the real-life industrial and social requirements. so this is the first steps towards the success of R&D and this will soon be more projects and the college will be recognized in the coming days.

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide many internships. But the hard department takes initiative for those students who are interested and give them an opportunity to avail internship. But they mainly prefer startups as we can get more knowledge and work experience. Stipend around 7 to 8 thousand. I have not attended any internships so not much experience.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement is the best thing that is happening in our college now. Many companies visit our college from the 7th sem and till the 8th sem, 80% of the students get placed every year. The average package is around 6 lakhs. On an average at least 160 students get placed the companies that visit are- HP, Capgemini, NTT Data, Merchant navy, Westline Ship Company, Cisco, Microland, Amazon.

College Events

4

We don't have 3 or 4 fests we have one fest for all branches for all purposes and to satisfy all our needs. the authorities make sure that its a big success. its well organized. and the entrance amount and the prize amount are quite amazing. the programme would be around the cost of 10 - 20 lakhs. each department does their part in involving into the fest. they take initiative in organizing creative events which keep the college united.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are many categories under the fee structure. We pay the fees online mainly through PayTM and BHIM application. The fee structure is management and comes is usually the same. it might cost around 1.5 lakhs and in it, it will cost around 90 thousand.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college keeps us updated about the scholarship opportunities so we can apply for it online. They provide us with the necessary links so we can provide necessary documents and avail the scholarship amount and the loans college doesn't play much about it they just give us fees statement and if we produce to the bank we get our loan amount. So on loan, there is no much involvement by the college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I stayed in a hostel for 2 years. It was a great life there. We have all the basic facilities we have 2 and 3 sharing rooms and we get basic facilities in the room like in all rooms i.e bed cot table chair. No there are no PGs. I had paid 83 thousand rupees and 85 thousand the next year. The food is not that great one of the reasons I quit the hostel was food it is not of great quality. I wish it would be tasty one day.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association is an immense network of professional contacts they might be our seniors but they have also crossed and reached the heights of success in their own field. so we can contact them through mail-id or can get contact info from the dept. and ask them and take the suggestion from them.

Faculty

4.5

The teachers are damn interactive. They are connected to us via most of the social platforms. and they just don't teach us about the educational things they even the reality they identify our mistakes and make us better human beings. Their standard of teaching is good. they try to relate topics with all the reality concepts. their way of teaching is just amazing. they try to make us understand clearly with the concepts. and they are with us whenever we have a doubt they are always there to help us. The teachers are experienced in their subjects as they have been handling it for quite a few years. A handful of the teachers are Ph.D. holders. so they are very useful in terms of knowledge and projects they are good guides.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
