MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD

The Course I chose was good as per my expectations. There is a good focus given to practical learning in my college. There is about 70% focus given to practical learning of the complete syllabus of my course. Yes, they do take research initiatives to form the institute. No, we still do not have any elective subjects. But I can say they are available in the third year.

Yes, our college does have internship facilities. But we have no experience with it so far, as it is only available in the 3rd year. I have no much knowledge about the stipend amount, so I have no idea about it.

I have not yet attended any of the placement scenario, so I cannot say much about the placements. I also do not know correctly about the percentage of students placed. There are various companies that come to our campus for interviews. There are around 40-50 companies that are welcomed. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, HP, and so on. The average package can roughly be like Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.

Yes, our college does organize several fests. The fests organized are mostly cultural events such as celebrations of Diwali, and so on. The fests organized were big but they are usually only for a single day. There are lot of people that visit the events organized, I can say that the footfall was around 250 – 300 people. Yes, the college does contribute but only when both students and department support both.

The fee structure was affordable for me as compared to other colleges. The fee for this course was around Rs. 50,000 for a single year. The fee included Tuition Fees, Library Fees, Laboratory fees, Sports Fees and so on. There is only option to pay the fees, to pay it annually.

Yes, we can have a lot of scholarship options from our college. I did not apply or avail any for it as I am a management student. But our college does not give the educational loan to the needy students. Even though we can still have a third-party loan method present. Yes, there is hostel facility available but it is a little far from our college, but they do provide bus facility too. No, I do not reside in the hostel as I travel from home daily. Their hostel rooms are sharing and they are medium in size. There are PGs available around the campus but the closest are only for girls. Boys PG are a little far college. I have no idea about the fees paid for the hostel and neither do I have any idea about the food provided by them as I have never been to the Hostel.

No I don’t have any good network with our alumni. No the college does not provide any platform for student-alumni interaction. No the alumni did not and do not contribute to the development of our college. But we do try our best to contribute something college.

Most of the faculties are qualified and some of them are even Ph.D. holders. So far there are only experienced faculties here, there have not been any recruits for people with experience less than 2 years. The standard of teaching is very good and they are pretty much interactive with the students and are always available.
