Remarks

Overall the academically it's a good college, get to learn a lot of new things which are essential in your corporate life. Plus you earn a degree as well which is quite handy. If you are a resident, my suggestion is that you write a competitive exam like PGCET or a KMAT, get a good ranking and apply for a government category. If you have a reservation certificate like SC/ST or a 2B category, your fee would be even lower than the usual.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Yes, it is, we had good exposure both academically, as well as grooming one's character suited for the corporate world. We had industrial visits as well. It was a bit hectic at first but once you get to speed, it all good. We had few companies who had visited the campus and got an offer as well but eventually declined.

Placement Experience

2

There were not many companies who visited as far as finance field is concerned, I remember giving an interview for a company called Practo which is into marketing, I got through but didn't accept the offer. Internships- You will have to search for yourself.

College Events

3.5

We had lots of events from Entrepreneurship to Science fair, Ethnic day, Sports Day. We didn't have any sponsors for our tenure hence we didn't conduct the management fest but we were a part of a few fests were we won lots of awards. We had no funding to conduct a management fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is on a higher side as the management quota demands a lot. If you want the amount to reduce, you will have to write entrance exams like kmat or PGCET in order to get the benefits. If you have any reservation category, that would be even better as they would charge you nominally.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan as I had saved up for my education well in advance. If you have aimed for something, plan in advance so that you don't have any issues in the coming years of your student life. Don't spend lavishly and save every penny. Our college did have some financial scheme but I didn't opt for it.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life was good, only if you have a good set of friends who understand the balance between fun and studies. The gender ratio was not that visible but mostly it was a male dominated class. We had a lot of debates, presentation and team building activities. We had projects which was fun to work on with friends and as an individual as well

Hostel Facilities

4

I am a local resident so I didn't opt for a hostel. I stay with my parents but had visited the hostel facilities and it's pretty good. The food is not that great. The ambience is good and the surroundings are pleasant. Good wifi, electricity, hot water, Bunker beds and all that. You have a bus facility by the college as well which is an added advantage

Alumni/Alumna

I didn't need any contacts as I was a localite. I had many contacts and a lot of help was through my degree mates who were a great help. I didn't have any faith in the alumni network. They weren't helpful as such, just focus on getting a good percentage and make contacts in your friend groups. That would help you a lot.

Admission

I applied through PGCET and got a good rank, to reduce my fee in the government quota. Initially, you will have to pay the Education board Rs 50000. If you get a good rank in the competitive exam, then you will only be charged the admission fee rather than the management quota which will end up in lakhs.

Faculty

4

Faculty is top notch. We had a wonderful 4 semesters and each and every faculty was really knowledgeable and would explain us in detail if we had any issues relating to the topic. A/C classes, sports room, an awesome auditorium as well. We had an awesome library and internet facility as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

The placement opportunities at IIBS are fairly decent, especially for students who are proactive and focused on skill development. The college has a dedicated placement cell that works to connect students with companies across sectors like banking, finance, marketing, HR, and consulting.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
