Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of M.B.B.S. is definitely one of the most enjoyable course. As you enter the M.B.B.S. scheme, you are now in a professional course, so, it always prepared you for the real world applications. Right now I don't think, I have any suggestion for the curriculum since it is managed by the O.U.H.S. The exams are as per the O.U.H.S.
Internships Opportunities
Under the internship programme you have to serve as a House Surgeon in the college which generally increase your work experience and helps in understanding patients. After completing the internship you will be able to understand your patients more.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can get financial assistance as per the state government scholarship programmes. It cost approximately 100000 to complete the 1st year course. You can pay the fees by help of government scholarships. You can get internship here also.
Campus Life
You can enjoy many annual festivals here such as Plexus, Aurora, and many more. You can get a high range of books about Medical Science in the college library. There are many experienced faculty present their and you can get many technological provisions for teaching purposes. The campus support high range of sports and also many sports events are organised occasionally. A student union is formed which help in smooth conduction of the college.
Hostel Facilities
You can get hostel rooms in the college and usually have to share with 2 more students. The meal quality is good and you can change the menu according to the students proposals. As soon as you admissioned in the college you can apply for hostel room.
Admission
You can be eligible for the M.B.B.S. couse in S.C.B medical College and hospital, Cuttack through the NEET examination which happens every year all over India. As you qualify the NEET examination you have to apply online for the admission and select the colleges you are interested in. You will get the college according to your marks in the NEET examination. There are reservation benefits for SC, ST, PH students. There is also special state quota available. They have usual exams as per the OUHS ( Odisha University of Health Science ). It is a very old, heritage college and it is the best college to pursue M.B.B.S. within Odisha.
