- The college conducts certified personality development course before starting the placements, which helps every student to be prepared for the interview.
- Research department is very good. Students can exploit their potential to the fullest extent. Encouragement is given to everyone to achieve their goals. Dedicated Fraternity and dedicated staff in Aided and Self Supporting.
Dislikes
- Mostly local business and small companies hire students from the college, and most of us got placed.
- Students wanted to do higher studies, so there were no placements, because the counseling was canceled as students did not want it
- Too many hierarchy. More expectation. Very less salary. No respect for the teaching staff( self support)

Campus life The college always has some kind of fests or functions going on but the main annual fest are aarambh and mythri, a fest conducted for the freshers and seniors. The library has many fiction and non fiction books. Also magazines and newspapers are updated frequently in the library Hostel Ethiraj College for Women hostel offers accommodation facilities for 585 students from various districts and occasionally from outside the state. It houses UG, PG, MBA, and MCA students. The hostel is located on campus and in the middle of the city, which is a more desirable location for students. Ethiraj College for Women hostel facilities include three blocks with 3,4 or 6 sharing rooms. Library The Ethiraj College for Women has a three-storey library spread over 32,000 square feet. It has large reading areas, research carrels, a UGC-funded internet cafe, a resource centre for the visually challenged and visually impaired, and outsourced photocopying service.
