The Best of GCET

Course curriculum is really very good. It helps students to be able to solve real world problems and the students are able to engineering mindset realm. There is the whole future of Artificial Intelligence, and I have keen interest in technology so I decided to pursue Bachelors in AIML. There are interesting and wonderful subjects in every engineering stream, so a student has many options for his future. The professors in College are good teachers that help students. The semester exams are held twice a year in a gap of 4 months.

Campus provides internship opportunities to the students and we also find internships that does not involve college on their priority basis. Almost every student do internship for gaining Work Experience. College has signed MoU with many organisations that offers internship to students and GFG is one of the best among them. There is a mini project in 3rd year and a major project in 4th year that is final year that students have to work on and publish a research paper and project report to the assisted professor.

There are good campus placement opportunities for the students. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for internship and placement opportunities. At recent time there is recession and layoffs so it is somehow difficult for students to get a good job but it will be on track after some time with a new change in placement criteria. There are several companies that come every year for placement Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL , Geeks for Geeks (GFG) and many more. The highest package was grabbed by 4 students for Software Developer role offered by the company 'Autodesk'. This highest package was of 39 LPA . And average package is 4 LPA as usual. More than 90% students gets placed every year.

Fee structure of BTech course is 1,25,000 per year. I have talked from seniors and juniors about their fees and as expected tution fees had not been increased since a long time. And one more interesting thing is that from 2nd year onwards tution fees become 1,09,603 per year. There is basically one major scholarship available for some students and it has some eligibility criteria that some of my known have claimed. It is provided by the parent university AKTU. The campus also provides education loan for students.

Campus Life has a really vibrant and enriching experience. In GCET it has the involvement of mix of academic and social activities. Students have the opportunity to engage in various extracurriculars, cultural fests, workshops, club activities and so on. Social life on campus is diverse with students from various backgrounds and interests coming together. There is a fest called UNIFEST organised every year by the collegeand it is the greatest fest in Greater Noida and NCR region . There are every type of books, journals and newsletters present in the library and it is technically equipped. Library has a full environment for study. There are college teams for every major sports that go for Inter College competitions. I was also a departmental club coordinator and a member of council club in my 1st and 2nd year.

Admission process of GCET is processed via JEE Mains. The candidate must have a good rank for admission in Computer Science and allied branches and the rank depends year on year. The JEE Mains exam is held 2 times in a single year. The eligibility criteria is 75% in 12th boards exam. Application form, Application fees and Application dates are found on GCET official website. There is no default in the admission process as of now so no need of change.
