I love animals and i am interested in reading about them. If anyone is interested in learning about animals, vertebrate, invertebrate zoology then they can do this course.. By studying Zoology in this college, you can know only theoretically. Practically, you will not be able to learn much by doing the course here. There is a severe shortage of faculty members Maybe some professors will join later. Timing of exams are sometimes worst... There are lot of thing's to improve like practical items , completion of the syllabus on time ,taking exams on time . If your financial condition is below average and you want to do zoology honours than you apply for this course in this college. But in my reference find another good college for specific learning about zoology and later pursuing MSC and PhD etc. There is also good things in this college like environment friendly attitude of professors(not all)..

This is govt college so the fee structure is low compared to other colleges. Yearly fees are not above 1000 you have to pay 2times per semester one for admission and the other examination fees both you have to pay upto 500 rupees each. There are few stipend options for students like: 1.For students who have completed 12th at 80%or above marks are applicable for ishan Uday scheme (upto 10k per month) .only 10000 scholarship are distributed.. 2. For Sc/St Student there is economically backward class stipend 3. For General student there is Dr. B r ambedkar economically backward class scholarship yearly upto 2500 rupees. 4.same for obc students. Yearly upto2500 rupees 5. There is one more scheme which is state scholarship scheme applicable for last year students.- Mukhyamantri Yuva yogayog yojna(MYYY) which grant 5000 rupees for purchasing mobile phone.

Our campus is a peaceful place because of the greenary and broad area of the campus and we aslo have a ecopark with large lake where migratory birds comes seasonally. Many festive programs take place in our college like Saraswati Puja, Mahalaya and Tribal Festivals.There is also a freshers program every year. In our college we have our own Library where you can read which book you want and also borrow for sometimes. classroom condition of the science department building is the worst damp walls ,no drinkable water facility, cleanliness etc but recently it's renovating...But it would be good if the building was changed. We have our boitech club But the interest of students is very low. We have our college football team, handball team .

Those who are passed 12th board at 70% or above are applied for the course, but in recent years entrance exam will be applicable for the admission, candidates must secure at least 50% marks in their class 10+2 from any recognised board. Application form is given by the college you have to collect it from college and the admission fees are upto 500. Sometimes Exams do not happen on time, there should be semesters every 6 months but sometimes they happen even after 3 months or 4 months. To do this, there is less time or more than 6month given for the remaining semesters, in short timetable is worst sometimes. If you achieve good marks in college admission test (CUET) you are one step ahead for the admission process... So Good luck..
